Both tools help you control your experience, but they do different things. You can use one, the other, or both.

Delete/Unmatch someone when you simply don't want any further contact. This is immediate and personal to you — the member won't be able to contact you anymore, unless you match again in the future. They aren't notified, and our team isn't involved. Use this for someone who's just not a fit.

Report a member when their behavior breaks our rules — harassment, scams, fake profiles, offensive content, or anyone who seems underage. Reporting sends the profile to our team to review and act on, which helps protect the whole community, and it also prevents the member from viewing you or contacting you.
