Quick answer: Explore and Most Eligible are two ways to see more profiles, on the second tab from the left.
- Explore shows several members at once, closest to you first. It can include members outside your preferences.
- Tap a photo to open the full profile, then Like, Pass, or send a Swipe Note.
- Members you've already Liked show a heart and a red border. You can send them a Swipe Note, but you can't open their profile again.
- Pass by mistake? Undo it before the countdown bar runs out.
- Messaging from Explore requires a Swipe Note. A mutual Like creates a Match in your Chat page.
- Most Eligible is a First Class feature that shows the most-liked members near you.
Explore and Most Eligible are on the second tab from the left. Explore is on the left side of the page, and Most Eligible is on the right. You can switch between them at any time.
Explore
Explore widens the lens a little, so you can discover great connections you might have otherwise missed, including members who aren't in your preferences.
What you'll see
Explore shows several members at once, each in their own square, with their photo, name, and age. Members you've already Liked show a heart icon in the top corner and a red border. You can still send them a Swipe Note, but you can't tap to view their profile again, because you've already Liked them.
How results are ordered
Explore shows the members closest to you first. As you keep scrolling, you'll see members who are farther away.
Making a selection
Tap the photo of a member you haven't Liked yet to view their full profile. From there you can:
- Like the member if you're interested.
- Pass if you'd prefer not to connect.
- Send a Swipe Note.
Your selection shows on their square:
- Liked: a heart appears in the top corner and their square gets a red border. You can still send them a Swipe Note, but you can't open their profile again.
- Passed: their square is greyed out, with a line through the heart icon. The profile disappears after the countdown.
When you Like someone, they'll be notified that you're interested.
Changing your mind
If you Pass on someone by mistake, you have a short window to undo it. A countdown bar at the top of their square shows how much time is left before the profile fades from Explore. Once it fades, the Pass is final and can't be recovered.
Messaging from Explore
You can start a conversation with any member in Explore by sending a Swipe Note. If you don't have one, you'll be prompted to upgrade. See Swipe Notes – common questions
When a Like is mutual
If you and another member both Like each other, it's a Match. The Match appears on your Chat page, and you can start talking.
Most Eligible
Most Eligible is a First Class feature. It shows the most-liked members near you. It does not stick to your search preferences. Upgrade to view, Like, and Pass on them. See How do I buy a First Class membership?
