Quick answer: You can report or block a member directly from their profile.
- Open the member's profile.
- Tap the "Report" icon in the top right corner.
- Enter your reason for reporting/blocking.
- Tap "Submit."
- Blocked, or the profile is gone? Contact Customer Support instead.
You can report a member by following these steps:
- Open the member's profile
- Tap the "Report" icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen
- Enter your reason for report/blocking
- Tap "Submit"
Please provide as much detail as to why you are flagging them so our team can review accordingly.
Reporting the profile will also prevent the member from viewing you or making contact.
You can also delete a chat to prevent that member from contacting you again via the app. Just go to the chat tab, tap on the profile and hold, and then tap "Delete/Unmatch".
If you can't report in the app
Sometimes the report option isn't there any more — the other member blocked you first, they deleted or hid their account, the conversation is gone, or you no longer have access to your own account. You can still report them: contact Customer Support with the details below. We can act on an account even when you can no longer see it.
What to include in your report
The more of this you can give us, the faster we can identify the account and act on it. Send whatever you have — a partial report is still worth making.
- Screenshots. The single most useful thing you can send. See below for what makes one usable.
- The profile name as it appeared, plus their age, city, photos or job if you remember them.
- A link to the profile, or the profile ID, if you still have one.
- When it happened — the date and rough time of the messages or the profile you saw.
- What happened, in your own words.
- Anything they gave you off the app — a phone number, email address, social media handle or website, and any payment app username, wallet address or bank details if they asked you for money.
- The email address on your own account, so we can match the report to you.
Screenshots that help us
- Capture the whole screen rather than a crop. The name and photo at the top of a chat are often how we identify the account.
- Include timestamps wherever they appear.
- Send the whole conversation in order, not a single message — context matters, and so does what came before it.
- Add a screenshot of the profile itself as well as the chat, if you can still open it.
- Don't blur or crop out phone numbers, links, handles or usernames. Those details are how we find other accounts run by the same person.
- Attach the image files with Add file on the form. Messages you've retyped are harder for us to verify.
- Please don't send intimate or explicit images, even as evidence. Describe them and tell us where they appeared instead — we can find them without a copy.
Reports sent this way are confidential, exactly like reports made in the app. The other member is never told who reported them.
